Question #1 Referring to Brush Settings

Q. How do you make it tapered like that? I did the instructions, but my brush won't taper and form sharp edges like yours. I did it once before, a while ago, but now I don't know why  it's not working. Do you have any idea how I can fix it?
A. More thank likely if you have this problem it means that you are using your mouse to change the settings. When you use the mouse it won't show up tapered to points, in fact none of the settings will show up (however the settings will still be applied even if you can't see them). You can determine if this is your problem by looking at the settings box and seeing if there are little warning triangles next to the settings. To "fix" it either ignore the fact that the settings do not show, or use your tablet pen instead of your mouse to change the settings.

Question #2 Referring to Speed and Practice

Q. How do you paint so quickly!!? You finish sketches in under 5 minutes and painting only takes you a couple of hours!
A. Well to start off, I have draw an insane amount of pictures since I first started drawing. For example, each year I paint on average 800 drawings. Where are all those drawings you might ask? Gone, deleted, saved in a long lost file. You want to know my secret of speed? Practice without worrying about the results! Paint something awful, hate it, DON'T bother uploading it, and delete it! You don't have to make every single picture you paint high quality. It is just about the practice you get from painting, not the perfection every time. The more you practice without caring about the results, the faster you will get!
